Echuca, 200km north of Melbourne on the mighty Murray River runs a number of festivals:

Paddleboats,Jazz Food & Wine Festival

Held the 3rd weekend of February, this festival is a great weekend in the sun featuring many top jazz artists. Saturday night always features a headline performer under the stars at the Aquatic Reserve. 

The Sunday picnic is an event not to be missed.  At the Aquatic Reserve, local wineries and restaurants have booths giving locals and visitors an opportunity to taste local produce while listening to a wonderful array of music.

Winter Blues Festival

Held the last weekend of July, this festival features free R&B bands along High Street on the Sunday afternoon. Various artists appear at pubs, restaurants and clubs on the Saturday night making it another wonderful weekend.

Why not book for the Winter Blues Festival weekend? It's a great weekend with Blues bands playing along High Street and most of the restaurants have bands booked for the Saturday night.  Book early though as rooms will go quickly. Want to know more about the festival? Winter Blues website
